SSC CGL 2023 Results Announced: 81,752 Candidates Shortlisted for Tier-II Exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2023 Tier-I exam on September 19, 2023. A total of 81,752 candidates have been shortlisted for the Tier-II exam, which will be held on November 12, 2023.

The SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in the central government. The exam is held in four tiers: Tier-I (Computer Based Test), Tier-II (Computer Based Test), Tier-III (Descriptive Paper), and Tier-IV (Computer Based Test for Skill Test and/or Computer Proficiency Test).

To qualify for the Tier-II exam, candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in each section and 35% marks overall in the Tier-I exam. The Tier-II exam will consist of four sections: Quantitative Ability, English Language, Statistics, and General Studies.

Candidates who are shortlisted for the Tier-II exam will receive a call letter from the SSC. The call letter will contain all the important information about the Tier-II exam, such as the date and time of the exam, the venue of the exam, and the documents that candidates need to bring to the exam.

The SSC CGL exam is one of the most popular competitive exams in India. A large number of candidates apply for the exam every year. The competition for the exam is very high, and only the most qualified candidates are selected.
