A new scheme to provide Indian language books in digital format has been announced, aiming to make learning materials more accessible and enhance subject comprehension in students' native languages.
The Union Budget 2025 has outlined plans for adding 6,500 new seats across five Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and 10,000 new medical seats, emphasizing the expansion of higher education facilities. This includes infrastructure development in IIT Palakkad, Dharwad, Jammu, Bhilai, and Tirupati, focusing on undergraduate or BTech levels.
