JNUEE 2019 and CEEB 2019 to be conducted by NTA – online applications begin in ntajnu.nic.in

awaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination, JNUEE 2019 and Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology, CEEB 2019 would be conducted by National Testing Agency, NTA from this year. NTA has released the information bulletin. Online applications have begun on ntajnu.nic.in. Interested candidates can apply online till April 16, 2019.


JNUEE is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the university. Admission to the courses barring M.Phil and Ph.D would be done on the basis of performance in the computer based test. For M.Phil and Ph.D, a viva voice would also be conducted.

CEEB is conducted for admission to Biotechnology courses in 54 participating universities. Admission to four Masters Programmes in Biotechnology i.e. M.Sc Biotechnology in 33 universities, M. Sc Agricultural Biotechnology in 11 universities, M. VSc in three universities as well as M. Tech in Biotechnology in 7 universities would be done on the basis of the examination.

Candidates interested in appearing for the examinations are advised to fill the online application forms available on ntajnu.nic.in. Please note, the candidates can apply for a maximum of three fields at the same level of the programme. Only one application form needs to be filled for the same.

Start of online application: March 15, 2019

Last date to fill online application form: April 15, 2019

Last date to pay fees: April 16, 2019

Date of Examination: 27, 28, 29 and 30 May, 2019. May 31 has been kept as a reserve day.

All interested candidates are advised to go through the notification carefully before filling the online forms. Candidates would not be allowed to change the options given nor the preferences once selected. Also, candidates selected for a higher preference would not be then considered for the other preferences of the same level program.


Also, like other NTA examinations, JNUEE 2019 and CEEB 2019 would also be conducted in computer based test mode. The examination would be conducted in two sessions. The first session would be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session would be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
