Maharashtra mega recruitment process for 4000 posts receives 8 lakh applications

The mega recruitment process in Maharashtra launched by CM of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis begun from December 2018. The recruitment process received 8 lakh applications for 4000 posts in the last two month.

The response from youngsters for Grade C and Grade D posts in government sector has witnessed an upsurge in this recruitment drive. The highest number of applications received for the post of forest guard is 4.3 lakh for 1218 posts. Public works department has received 58,000 applications for 405 posts of Junior Engineer. A total of 82,307 applications was received for 1416 posts in Department of Agriculture. Approximately 1.74 lakh applications were received for 959 posts of Accountant, clerk, junior auditor, and junior accountant in Finance department. 42,078 applications applied for 282 posts in Water Conservation Department.This mega recruitment will be recovered in various departments like Revenue, Agriculture, Health, PWD, Home, Water Conservation, Finance department of the state .
